Welcome to the Arts Programme for 2009-10 which has been developed to offer a wide range of opportunities in the Arts. Our city-wide programme is innovative and exciting and is designed to bring together a rich cultural awareness amongst those who share a common interest.   

Art, in the broadest sense of the word, allows people to demonstrate their creative talents and build their confidence. All our courses are practical and recognise the individual need of our learners. Our skilled and experienced tutors will be offering courses at a variety of levels throughout the week both in the daytime and evening, with specialist one day workshops on Saturdays.  

Many of our Leicester Adult Education College art courses now run at the New Walk Museum, affording a fantastic opportunity to become inspired by the ever changing exhibitions and events.  

Whether you are a new learner or someone who has a great deal of experience, we feel confident that we can provide that innovative step that will inspire curiosity and imagination and enhance your skills and knowledge. Where appropriate courses will give you the opportunity to develop speaking and listening skills.  

The Arts programme has been planned to give learners the opportunity to build a portfolio if they want to progress to Further or Higher Education.
